At the heart of Mo Lemonade Café is a story built on family, passion, creativity, and unwavering support. Founder Lakissia Ervin created Mo Lemonade Café with a vision far bigger than lemonade — she built a brand centered around culture, connection, unforgettable flavors, and bringing joy to every community it touches. Known for its designer lemonades, handcrafted açaí bowls, fresh salads, protein bowls, and bold creativity, Mo Lemonade Café has become a staple throughout Chattanooga for both its flavors and the genuine energy behind the brand.
Lakissia intentionally built Mo Lemonade Café not only as a thriving business, but as something her son, LeRonnie Bussey, could proudly own and continue growing — even while pursuing his dreams abroad in Zürich. Her goal was always bigger than business; it was about creating legacy, opportunity, and a foundation that would allow her son to chase his purpose without having to leave his entrepreneurial vision behind.
LeRonnie Bussey — a professional ballet dancer currently performing with Ballett Zürich and a proud graduate of The Juilliard School. While LeRonnie has pursued his passion for dance on an international stage, Mo Lemonade Café has always remained close to his heart. From helping develop creative concepts to masterminding many of the unique names behind the café’s signature lemonades and protein bowls, his artistry and creativity have played a meaningful role in shaping the personality of the brand.
For Lakissia, supporting her son’s dreams was never a question. As a loving and devoted mother, she encouraged LeRonnie to boldly pursue his calling in Zürich while she continued managing and growing the business back home. Their journey reflects the beauty of family support, sacrifice, and believing in one another’s purpose.
Together, Lakissia and LeRonnie represent the perfect blend of entrepreneurship and artistry — proving that dreams can coexist, whether on a world-class ballet stage or through a café that brings people together one experience at a time. Mo Lemonade Café means more to them than simply serving food and drinks; it represents love, culture, creativity, hard work, and the power of building something meaningful that leaves a lasting impact on people everywhere they go.
